after a month of being in italy i am finally starting to adjust to daily life here. even though im not too excited about the bus system which is super slow and very irregular. i came back from greece last weekend, we were in athens, ios, and santirini. it was beautiful there. i was excited to come home, to rome. the day we got back was a special night called la notte bianca (the white night, in italian its means a night of no sleep). well all of rome was open for one night. it was supposed to go on till 6 am. but let me tell you that did not end up happening. at around 3:30 the power in all of italy went out. thank god i was home in bed and not stuck out in rome. i honestly have never seen rome so damn crowded. we were walking in the middle of the streets, with cars, buses, and mopeds on either sides of us. it was crazy. i took the metro home by myself that night and that was a little scary. but it was a nice experience. hehe.
